Art The Experience

The city of Marion asked Art The Experience to come in and add something new and special to their event. After long discussion and debates over what art form we should demonstrate, the city found that the painting demo was best suited for their budget and time frame. So painting it was.
We had three hours and two artists to create two murals. The first was painted by Greg Butauski and was the "World in His Hands". The painting measure 6 feet long and 4 feet tall and stood on an easel that was over 7 feet tall. Now that was impressive. The crowds interacted with us, asked questions and were in awe because they have never seen anyone paint a picture from begining to end. The were able to see the entire process.
The other painting was interactive. Artist Trey Justice helped kids create a rainbow with their hands. They had a blast playing in the paint and so did we.
